this is a devlog to inform you about the release of the 'Simply Symbol' asset pack.

Simply Symbol is an asset pack containing various images to be used as emotes or pictures, either standalone or in modular fashion by combining them with backgrounds and frames of multiple styles. Everything comes in two sizes (128px and 64px), two styles (Balloon for emotes and Icon for pictures), as well as 25 colours and a varying amount of dual-colour styles to create your own combinations more easily.

The asset pack features 50+10 non-unique emotes+extras and 10 numbers and words each in total, all in the options outlined above. In addition, there is an animation branch for some of the emotes, extras and all words to give you those in step-by-step parts to create your own moving pictures, some even in multiple versions. Lastly, there is also an image-guide to give you inspiration to modify and expand the assets, as well as logos and screenshots to make it easier for you to share your work.

The license for this asset pack is very open. As long as you do not re-upload it as-is on itch.io - or elsewhere commercially - you can share, modify, extend and profit from it in any legal way. For more details on this, please refer to the Terms of Use in the ReadMe file.

While I do not plan to update this asset pack with more content after release, I may look into an additional mini-expansion to give some symbols preset color combinations, as this was something I omitted to keep the consistency for all of them.
