[Update #02] Version B.0.1.5
This is the next of the usual devlogs to keep you informed about my progress.
The project Late Shape Journey is now in version B.0.1.5.
A download is not available for this game yet.
Made additional small changes to the Title Screen, Configuration Screen and End Screen (probably also some misc. stuff)
Made a huge re-addition to the Main Menu (adding back some information and new things)
Mostly finished the message window in terms of appearance (minor stuff)
Re-implemented the Skill Menu as the new 'Abilities' Screen (basically an additional information screen for a character's... abilities)
Started to make Tutorial windows (in picture only for the moment)
Implemented additional plugins (... I think. Could be I did that last month already)
Added more to the asset library for the future, as well as expanding concepts for the project and future chapters

Progress Showcase (Outdated)
For the title screen, I've implemented a Credits window.
That one is basically finished, as I can easily change or re-arrange pages in the future. The content itself, of course, is only a placeholder.
There are also some minor optical changes, nothing big though.
And yes, I recommend giving all the people that are listed here a look if you're interested.
Here we have the message window, which I did last month already, actually. (But I totally forgot)
I did change some stuff up though to basically finish it.
Back to the Main Menu!
In the last update, I've basically removed everything as it was already listed within the Overview Menu.
I did reconsider though, and added back the actor window with all the basic information (mostly for optical reasons).
I've also re-added the Playtime window and the Currency window, as that one will now be used to collect points!
And as mentioned above, you can also see the new Abilities menu, as well as a second party member, which will be reserved for an additional feature.
Speaking of all these things makes it actually quite obvious that there would be a lot of design concepts that I did not write about yet. The reason is mostly that I don't want to speak too much about stuff that could still change. I will do an additional post about these things in the (near) future, though.
Almost last, here is a concept picture for the Tutorials. It's intended to look like that in the end, but I may change it again.
The way these will work is that they simply pop up during certain points in the game. A short description, and a picture that will fit into the empty box.
I do plan to make it more technical, though. Tutorials will be skippable, as well as trackable. If you've already seen some of them during a chapter, you can choose to skip all those when switching to another one.
There are currently about 15 made. I try to balance between explaining every interesting feature in the game against keeping it short to also contain them inside a menu. I'm not sure yet.
Finally last, I've nearly forgot this menu! (Yeah, it somehow keeps getting lost in my mind)
While it's true that the Overview menu lists all important information, it does not include skills and abilities.
You could say that it's not necessary to include that, as you can already see them in battle. But there is also no reason to hide it.
... Which could mean I could change my mind on that still, but for now I intend to use this menu.
The whole reason this is even a debate is because the game will normally not force you to check on skills outside of battle, really. (Again, more design choice talk)
Also, ignore the 'Quest' tab. It's a leftover of seeing how much I could actually fit into this window in regards of the Collection menu from the last update. There are some ideas left in my mind and I'm not yet sure how everything will work out in the end.
The skills are also just placeholders, but basically show the current system I want to use for battles.
Feel free to follow my project here on itch.io or via my x-profile.
The next update will be showcased on here as soon as it is ready.
Like always, thank you for reading and have a nice week, everyone.
