[Update #06] Version B.0.3.5



This is the next of the usual devlogs to keep you informed about my progress.

The project Late Shape Journey is now in version B.0.3.5.

A download is not available for this game yet.


Created the layout for the battle scene

Implemented the fundamental concepts for the battle system (how skills are set-up, for example)

Implemented some stuff in the database (Actors, skills, tilesets, ...)

Adjusted some assets in terms of file names, as well as upgrading the possible fonts used by the game

The battle layout (and system) builds upon the engines default front-view system, enhanced with additional plugins. As stated, I am also currently working out how the different systems will work in detail and in combination with each other.

This is also a wip-draft, still. I would like to go more into detail with the next concept log, if I manage to get some more details sorted until then.


Additionally, here is the abilities sub-menu. You can already see the basic system the skills will use. I am implementing the corresponding spells within the database, at the moment. (Which is also the reason why their order is messed up at the top.)

Again, this is still only a draft. Names and how everything works could still change.
